The life of a Jedi is dangerous. Their duties, which include learning about the Force and helping as peacekeepers, seem more laid-back than they are. Mission To Mid Rim Planet

When the Jedi Council ordered Kenobi to go to the Mid Rim planet of Dallenor to confirm an archeological team’s discovery of a Jedi Holocron, he used the lightsaber to defend himself and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker from a group of pirates.
