PRODUCT INFORMATION

Although they don't carry lightsabers, stormtroopers would appear to if they did. We love how this Style incorporates traditional lightsaber design elements, such as the slim neck, control box, and crystal on the pommel.

Like all others, this magnificent saber has an aluminum 6063 hilt. Each saber has beautiful finishes and sturdy construction made of durable materials, providing the best re-creation of a legendary design or an incredibly comfortable and fashionable dueling weapon.

This saber is not compatible with our VHC components and accessories.

SABER CONFIGURATIONS

Here's a simple breakdown of our available configurations.

  • Standard: not available for this model
  • Premium : It's the choice we want the most! A Neopixel blade on the same brand-new Xeno 3 board. The blade's high-density LED strip provides an incredible appearance and many visual effects. Currently modifiable via an SD card and, as always, a mobile app.
  • Deluxe: For the programmers among you, the Proffie v2.2 board offers fully programmable styles and effects with just one function button. This is the best neopixel lightsaber available. You will adore this if you enjoy getting your hands filthy (mainly with your keyboard) and customizing objects around you!

DIMENSIONS

  •  Dimensions of the hilt: 29 cm / 11.4 inches long, weighs approx. 420 g / 0.92 lbs
  •  Dimensions of the blade: Select a length of 72, 82, or 92 cm (28, 32, or 36 inches). Instead of the conventional 1", the blade format is 7/8".For each 7/8" blade, the thickness of the polycarbonate is 2mm.
  •  Recommended length of your lightsaber: Many fencing federations and academies stipulate that the entire length of your dueling saber must not exceed 110cm (39.4 to 43.4 inches). Typically, the blade is 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3 inches) inside the hilt. If you intend to use your saber in a formal situation, select the correct size; if this bothers you, go for the more considerable blade length, which is 36 inches or 92 cm.

USABILITY CHART

The key criteria for duelists are Handling and Weight; for cosplayers, it is Style and ease of Maintenance; and for collectors, it is mostly Style.

STYLE & REFINEMENT

Minimal concessions were made for a lightsaber design that is gorgeous or accurate on screen.

HANDLING COMFORT

Precision of the screen and intricate design. Some elements of this hilt might feel awkward during a duel.

WEIGHT

It is an excellent compromise between a sturdy construction and a high-quality training saber.

MAINTENANCE

This saber comprises a slide-out core with a Core Matrix Hub or a two-part core. Access for Maintenance is simple enough. The core has an easily accessible charging port.

XENO3 BLUETOOTH

There's decent Bluetooth communication with this hilt. If there are no network interferences, you can set the parameters of your sword using the app up to three feet away from your phone.

71 Types of Star Wars Troopers Explained(2023 Updated)

The Star Wars world contains a wide variety of trooper kinds.

From Attack of the Clones' Clone Troopers to The Force Awakens' First Order Stormtroopers. Every trooper has distinct qualities, both strengths and shortcomings. Knowing about them is crucial if you want to be a successful fan of Star Wars.

All of them will be listed in this blog post.

Just relax, grab a cup of coffee, and let's get started.

Clone Troopers

To defend the Galaxy from any threats, the Galactic Republic established an army of soldiers known as Clone Troopers. Following his vision of an Evil Empire, Jedi Master Sifo Dyas hired Kaminoan cloners to build a clone army for the Republic. All of the clones were created using the original template that bounty hunter Jango Fett gave. They grew so quickly that hundreds of thousands of clones may reach full maturity before they were needed.

The Clone Troopers bravely and successfully served the Republic until Darth Sidious gave them the order to carry out Order 66, which led to the Jedi Order's extinction. The majority of clone troopers were thereafter deactivated and replaced by recruits. However, some older ones were retained to assist in training the recruits prior to their decommissioning.

Clone Shock Trooper

The Galactic Republic employed a specific kind of clone trooper called a clone shock trooper. Clone shock troopers served as elite shock troops assigned to specific duties, including bodyguarding Republic politicians, securing Republic spacecraft, and defending Coruscant and other prominent planets. Additionally, they served in urban peacekeeping missions, upholding the rule of law and controlling riots as needed.

Clone shock troopers were distinguished from other clone troopers by the black and blue patterns on their white armor, which was more stylized than the typical clone trooper armor.

Galactic Marines

As the Grand Army of the Republic grew during the Clone Wars, a specialist regiment of clone troops known as the Galactic Marines was established. Under Ki-Adi-Mundi, they were first known as the 21st Nova Corps and participated in a number of conflicts, such as the Battle of Mygeeto. They later joined the Galactic Empire's Imperial Galactic Marines following the execution of the well-known Order 66.

Clone Paratrooper

Specialized Grand Army of the Republic clone warriors trained for airborne missions were known as clone paratroopers. They fought as front-line assault units in conflicts like as the Battle of Utapau during the Clone Wars. Following the issuance of Order 66, Clone Commander CC-2224 'Cody' directed a squad of paratroopers to look for their missing former general, Obi-Wan Kenobi. They were ineffective, though, since Kenobi managed to evacuate the planet and survive.

Clone Trooper Pilot

Clone trooper pilots were members of the Grand Army of the Republic who had received extensive training and expertise. During the Clone Wars, they were in charge of piloting a variety of ships and ground vehicles, such as ARC-170 starfighters, V-19 Torrent starfighters, Low Altitude Assault Transports, and Clone Z-95 Headhunters. They were also seasoned veterans with military titles like Clone Commander, Clone Captain, and Clone Lieutenant.

Following the conclusion of the Clone Wars, clone trooper pilots continued to fly as Imperial Starfighter Pilots under the Empire's control.

Clone Flame Trooper

One subset of clone troopers was known as clone flame troopers. Their primary incendiary weapons are BT X-42 heavy Republic flamethrowers. To defend themselves from the heat they were subjected to, they wore customized armor.

Clone flame troopers frequently served with other special operations groups, including Clone Commandos, Clone Shock Troopers, and ARC Troopers. When combined, these specialist forces were able to do complex tasks that were beyond the capabilities of ordinary clones.

Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi called in the flame troopers during the Second Battle of Geonosis to burn down the remaining Geonosian forces so that Republic forces could arrive at the landing zone and confront Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Advanced Recon Commando (ARC Troopers)

ARC Troopers (Advanced Recon Commandos) were among the best soldiers in the Clone Army of the Galactic Republic. These soldiers were selected from the ranks of clone cadets, trained for command roles, and deployed on demanding missions that were too tough for regular clones. Their unique armor gear, which included hard kama and pauldrons, as well as upgraded helmets with more sensors and communication equipment, allowing them to be recognized.

Commander CT-7567 Throughout the Clone Wars, "Rex" led the 501st Legion in numerous engagements and was the most famous ARC Trooper. Other prominent ARC Troopers who saw action were Ordo and Alpha-17.

Biker Advanced Recon Commando

The Grand Army of the Republic's elite clone warriors, known as Biker Advanced Recon Commandos (BARC troops), were taught to ride BARC speeders across dangerous battlefields with exceptional skill.

Jedi General Stass Allie commanded BARC troops during the Clone Wars. They were assigned to reconnaissance tasks throughout the planet while they were stationed on Saleucami. Sadly, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine's Order 66 compelled Clone Commander CC-8826 Neyo to open fire on his former commanding officer. Many Jedi across the Galaxy met a horrible end as a result of this incident, as they lost their lives in battle against their clones.

Clone Cold Assault Trooper

During the Clone Wars, the Grand Army of the Republic employed a specialized subset of clone troopers known as clone cold assault troopers. They had equipment and armor that had been adapted to survive the extreme cold of icy planets. Their armor offered further protection from the frigid weather, and their training enabled them to operate effectively in these challenging circumstances.

Clone Republic Commandos

During the Clone Wars, a select cadre of exceptionally skilled and specialized clones known as the Clone Republic Commandos served in the Grand Army of the Republic. Their excellent marksmanship, sophisticated battle tactics, and hand-to-hand combat training set them apart from ordinary clone troops. They were also outfitted with armor and heavy weapons to make their operations easier.

These commandos were grouped into groups and dispatched on tasks that seemed unattainable throughout the Galaxy, including assassinations, infiltrations, and espionage. Among the notable squads were Omega Squad (headed by Sergeant RC-1138 "Boss") and Delta Squad (led by Sergeant Walon Vau). Clone Force 99 ("The Bad Batch") rose to fame at the same time after fulfilling a specific task given to them by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker.

Clone Gunner

Clone gunners, who were renowned for their accuracy and competence with heavy weaponry, were an invaluable part of the Republic's war effort. Ground-based weapons like rocket launchers, missile pods, anti-aircraft guns, and more were operated by clone gunners. As a result, during the Clone Wars, they witnessed action on several battlefields.

In the Republic military, clone gunners were regarded as experts and were usually equipped with different levels of armor protection depending on their requirements. During the Battle of Christophsis, Sergeant "Stew" of the Endurance was a notable example of a clone gunner.

Clone Ordnance Specialists

Clone ordnance experts, sometimes known as bomb squad troopers, were essential to the Republic's security efforts because they were in charge of neutralizing and destroying explosive devices.

A group of experts in clone ordnance was dispatched to neutralize several droidekas concealed throughout the city during the Battle of Coruscant. In the end, the troopers defeated the droidekas after successfully disarming them.

Additionally, the clone ordnance specialists were on Cato Neimoidia during a crucial mission to thwart Separatist activity. The bomb squad troops disarmed a number of Separatist mines that, if unchecked, could have destroyed a number of essential buildings during this mission.

Clone SCUBA Trooper

Clone SCUBA warriors were highly skilled soldiers who fought enemy forces using their cutting-edge underwater gear. They were assigned to conduct sabotage and reconnaissance operations far inside enemy territory, as well as direct battle as required. They were able to stay underwater for long periods because of the unique construction of their breathing apparatus and armor, and their weapons were modified to function underwater.

Riot Clone Trooper

During the Clone Wars, the Galactic Republic used specialist clone shock troopers from the Coruscant Guard, known as "riot clone troopers", to quell riots and carry out police operations. They positioned barracks across Galactic City and supported Coruscant Security Force when required, having received training in the use of nonlethal weaponry. Armed with stun batons and riot shields, they were sent out to find Duchess Satine Kryze during the Clone Wars.

Special Ops Clone Trooper

Special operations Clone troopers, also known as special operation troopers or stealth ops clones, were a type of clone trooper in the Grand Army of the Republic who were outfitted with specialized armor. During the Clone Wars, these clones distinguished themselves by frequently participating in special operations or reconnaissance missions. Jedi General Anakin Skywalker had several special operations clones on board an IPV-2C Stealth Corvette during the battle at Christophsis. Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi then assumed command of Clone Commander CC-1993 "Jet" and his soldiers for the Second Battle at Geonosis.

Advanced Recon Force Scout Trooper

An elite subset of the clone troopers were the Advanced Recon Force troopers or ARF Troopers. During the Clone Wars, they were developed in response to the demand for scouts and reconnaissance teams. The soldiers were members of Advanced Recon Force, or ARF, a specialist unit that received training in intelligence collection, survival skills, and stealth tactics. They could be used for a variety of missions, from direct combat to sabotage and reconnaissance, and they were incredibly skilled at functioning under challenging circumstances.

Specialized Phase I clone trooper armor, made for stealth and mobility, was worn by the ARF Troopers. It had better communications systems, better environmental protection, and sophisticated camouflage patterns.

41st Elite Corps Troopers

One of the military units of the Grand Army of the Republic was the 41st Elite Corps Troopers, sometimes referred to as the Elite Corps or just the Elite. Under the command of Clone Commander CC-1004 "Gree," this specialized force was well-trained and outfitted with cutting-edge armor and weapons to take on the most difficult Clone Wars combat.

The 41st Elite Corps Troopers were equipped with shorter DC-15S blasters and DC-15A blaster rifles. They also had access to WESTAR-M5s and Z-6 rotary blaster cannons, among other specialized weapons.

As with Gree's 41st Clone Legion, the troops in this unit used Phase II armor with bespoke colors, usually a green camo pattern with yellow highlights.

They also wore distinctive helmets with improved communications systems and more facial protection armor.

The 41st Elite Corps Troopers were incredibly skilled and fierce combatants. During the Clone Wars, they battled alongside Geonosis, Kashyyyk, Felucia, and Mygeeto, among others, on numerous front lines.

Stormtrooper

In the Star Wars series, the Galactic Empire's recognizable foot warriors are known as stormtroopers. They immediately became a pop cultural hit after making their cinematic debut in 1977's A New Hope.

The Republic's Clone Troopers were the ancestors of stormtroopers. Emperor Palpatine put an end to the cloning program after he came to power and chose to recruit human-born soldiers for his new Stormtrooper Corps instead.

An integral component of Emperor Palpatine's military power is the Stormtrooper. They are infused with the belief that, even at the cost of their own lives, they will contribute to restoring order to a galaxy in disarray.

One of the most recognizable characters in the Star Wars universe is still the Stormtrooper. Their commitment to their goal is undeniable, and their white armor and helmets are easily identifiable. There is no doubting Stormtroopers' remarkable cinematic legacy, despite the fact that they may be the foot troops of a repressive government.

Imperial Shock Trooper

Imperial Shock Troopers have a long and illustrious history and are a step up from standard Stormtroopers. They were a component of the Republic's elite military and were first used as clone shock troopers during the Clone Wars. They escorted captives and carried out missions on designated targets, acting as Coruscant's contemporary bodyguards and peacekeepers.

These shock troopers joined the Empire after the fall of the Republic and developed into elite frontline warriors and Emperor Palpatine's bodyguards. Their striking red and white armor, which had red insignia on the helmet, shoulder pads, shin guards, utility belts, and other areas, making them easily identifiable.

Compared to their Stormtrooper counterparts, Imperial shock troopers possessed more enormous armaments, including rocket launchers and DLT-19 heavy blaster rifles. Additionally, they received close-quarters combat training, which prepared them for controlling riots and protecting vital locations like as the Imperial Center on Coruscant. Along with these responsibilities, they served as recon forces and spies, driving tanks in combat or scouting new areas.

Stormtrooper Commanders

Officers in the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper Corps with extensive training and experience were known as Stormtrooper Commanders. They were able to lead men into battle and effectively organize strikes for the Empire since they were more knowledgeable than ordinary stormtroopers and had access to more sophisticated weapons and tactics. They could be identified by their blue armor marks and their pauldron, which was often orange in hue. They were regarded as the most skilled fighters in the Empire and were in charge of imposing Imperial law on adversary worlds.

Storm commandos

The Stormtrooper Corps' special forces are known as Storm Commandos. They belong to Darth Vader's 501st Legion and are highly skilled stormtroopers dressed in grey scout trooper armor. Their primary responsibility is to either start rebellions on enemy systems or put an end to rebellions on worlds controlled by the Imperials. On the battlefield, they are also employed as second-wave attackers, whose job is to hold territory that the first wave has taken.

Storm Commandos are a potent weapon in the Empire's arsenal since they are highly talented and dangerous combatants.

Stormtrooper Snipers

Specialized stormtroopers who have been trained to utilize sniper rifles and provide covering fire are known as stormtrooper snipers. A large number of snipers were ex-scout troopers who wore armor appropriate to their prior role. They were significant assets in warfare because they were able to eliminate foes from a distance using their skill with a sharpshooter.

Nova trooper

The Empire developed a modified version of the standard Stormtroopers called Nova Troopers. In key spots across the Galaxy, they donned recognizable black and gold armor that represented Imperial supremacy. Nova Troopers were frequently sent to worlds such as Emperor Palpatine's homeland, Naboo. They had armor and conventional weapons, which gave them more defense against blaster fire.

Imperial Marine

Specialized Stormtroopers trained to board enemy ships were known as Imperial Marines. They had a crucial role in the Galactic Empire's navy since they were frequently the first group to board starships that were taken prisoner. They carried a variety of armaments, including cutting lasers, explosive charges, thermal detonators, Mini-Mag shoulder-launched proton torpedo launchers, and the E-11 blaster rifle. Additionally, they had flash grenades and smoke pellets to aid them get an advantage during boarding operations.

As the Imperial Starfleet's punch, Imperial Marines demonstrated their value in numerous conflicts around the Galaxy.

Stormtrooper Grenadiers

Specialized stormtroopers with grenade launchers that discharged Class-A thermal detonators were known as Stormtrooper Grenadiers. They had a red insignia on the right shoulder plate of their armor, and they wore a black bandolier and a red pauldron across their chest. On the battlefield, these soldiers delivered a great deal of destructive weaponry, including explosive strikes to disperse enemy formations. For close-quarters fighting, the Grenadiers also employed handguns and standard blaster rifles in addition to their grenade launchers.

Mud trooper

Specialized in amphibious operations, mud troopers—also known as swamp troopers—are highly skilled professionals. Unlike ordinary Stormtroopers, they are better able to blend into the surroundings because of their armor's distinctive green camouflage.

In order to shield themselves from harmful gasses, pathogens, and swarms of insects, mud troopers also don specialized helmets and other protective gear.

Mud Troopers perform exceptionally well in bogs, lakes, and marshes. They can move swiftly over such dangerous terrain, and if necessary, their armor enables them to remain underwater for extended periods.

Mud troopers are shown in Star Wars Rebels as spearheading an offensive against rebellions on the planet Pipada.

Mimban Stormtrooper

The Mimban Stormtrooper, commonly known as the wet-weather gear stormtrooper, is a formidable character with rugged features and terrifying all-weather armor. Their distinctive shape was developed especially for the moist environment of the mining planet Mimban in the Expansion Region. To provide a better range of motion, the troopers' armor is made up of substantial plating that is layered with an extra gap between plates at the shoulders, hips, and knees. In addition to this armor, they don slicks, which are waterproof capes that are necessary for navigating Mimban's swamps.

In Solo: A Star Wars Story, the Mimban Stormtroopers made their debut by throwing Han Solo and Chewbacca into a pit.

Ranger Trooper

Elite stormtroopers, known as Range Troopers, are dedicated to securing and moving vital Imperial cargo. They can securely navigate across swiftly moving cars because of their magnetic grip boots and sturdy fur-lined armor. The most brutal soldiers in the Empire are known to be range troopers. The Range Troopers are superior to other Stormtrooper troops because of their sophisticated equipment, which enables them to carry out their responsibilities even in hostile environments.

Imperial Combat Assault Tank Pilots

Tank troopers, sometimes referred to as GAV troopers or Imperial combat assault tank troopers, were specially trained Imperial soldiers and drivers who operated TX-225 GAVw "Occupier" combat assault tanks. During the Empire's occupation, they were in charge of policing the streets of Jedha and frequently escorted other combat vehicles. They could be used in light infantry duties for observation and combat.

Coastal Defender Stormtroopers

Coastal defense stormtroopers, also known as shore troopers, had customized armor to maneuver swiftly across sand and water and were extensively trained in tropical conditions. Sergeants carried the more potent E-11, but their main armament was the E-22 blaster rifle. With a pale blue shoulder plate and somewhat less plate armor on the legs, the coastal defense stormtrooper armor was mostly sand-colored. All of the captains' breastplates were painted blue. As sergeants to regular stormtroopers, shore troopers were assigned to the Coastal Defense Division and were given leadership of small trooper squads.

Space trooper

Troops equipped with specialized training and equipment to operate in zero gravity were known as space troopers. They wore a special version of the standard stormtrooper uniform, complete with rebreather gear. They carried thermal detonators, specialized heavy blasters, and E-11 medium blaster rifles.

Space troopers were stationed on board the Death Star and the Chimaera during the Galactic Civil War, scouting the hulls of both vessels for possible dangers. When necessary, they were also employed to carry out repairs or building work.

Sand trooper

Specialized stormtroopers trained and equipped for desert operations are known as sand troopers or desert stormtroopers. Their armor has been updated to include cooling fans, sand filters, and a military bag that holds additional food and water rations. They frequently ride Dew backs and shock them into submission by applying electric rods to their hides. Their right shoulder's burnt orange pauldron usually serves as a distinguishing feature. From the advent of the Galactic Empire, sand troopers have played a crucial role in numerous intense conflicts around the Galaxy.

Imperial Combat Driver

Highly skilled members of the Galactic Empire's Army, Imperial combat drivers, were assigned to operate a variety of ground vehicles. These elite pilots were outfitted with everything from Imperial LAAT/le patrol gunships to 614-AvA speeder bikes. Of the combat driver corps, the AT-AT pilots were the most well-known due to their specialized skills and status as some of the army's most elite. All drivers also met the requirements to operate Terrain Armored Cargo Transports for non-combat missions.

Tie Fighter Pilot

All-black flight suits and large, wholly enclosed helmets were characteristics of TIE pilots, who were the Elite of the Imperial Navy's Flight Branch. Within the Imperial Forces, they were referred to as "coffin jockeys" because of their high death rate in the vulnerable TIE fighters, and by Rebel pilots, "bucket heads" because of their helmets. They were also referred to as "vac-heads" and "ground-hogs," which reflected their different positions in the Army and Navy, as there was intense competition between the two groups.

AT-AT Pilot

The enormous AT-AT walkers were driven by skilled Imperial combat drivers known as AT-AT Pilots. They operated in two-person teams, managing the shooting and driving controls of the vehicle, occasionally under the supervision of a commander. Together with blaster guns, thermal detonators, and grenades, the pilots wore reinforced insulated suits to shield them from the uncontrolled temperature of their walkers. To aid in weather survival, they also wore reinforced helmets and life support packs.

Snow trooper

Specialized stormtrooper variations trained and outfitted for cold climates, such as the ice planet Hoth, are called snow troopers, also known as cold assault stormtroopers and cold weather assault stormtroopers. Snow troopers are kept warm by insulated armor, batteries, and breathing devices that are heated and have hood-like helmets with slitted eyeholes to keep out the cold. In addition, they have ion flares, homing beacons, grappling hooks, ice boots, snow goggles, and ion flares to aid in their navigation of the frigid terrain. Snow troopers are among the most identifiable variations of the Stormtrooper Corps, distinguished by their characteristic helmets and lengthy body gloves.

Scout Trooper

Scout troopers, sometimes referred to as biker scouts, are highly skilled stormtroopers who have received infiltration and surveillance training. They have electromagnetic vision and an enhanced com link in their helmets, and they wear lighter armor than regular stormtroopers to increase their mobility and agility. Scout troopers are renowned for their exceptional shooting and frequently ride 74-Z speeder bikes. They are armed with shock grenades and E-11 long-range blaster pistols. The second Death Star in space was being shielded by an SLD-26 Planetary Shield Generator, which we saw scout warriors defending on the forest moon of Endor in Return of the Jedi.

Patrol Trooper

Specialized versions of the Galactic Empire's Stormtroopers, Patrol Troopers were used as a quick-reaction police force in urban areas. Armed with EC-17 Holdout Blasters and C-PH Patrol Speeder motorcycles, they patrolled towns and cities to maintain law and order. Their helmets included improved imaging technology for scanning people and detecting construction and traffic problems, and they were bigger than typical Stormtrooper helmets. Stormtrooper patrols superseded local legal systems as the Empire expanded its rule over additional planets. To maintain residents' allegiance to the Empire, patrol troopers served as law enforcement.

Cave Troopers

A specific kind of Stormtrooper, Cave Troopers are outfitted with scout trooper armor and other gear to enable battle and exploration below ground. They are equipped with low-light vision gear, blaster carbines, big Vibro Knives for melee combat, and powerful headlamps. They can also easily cross otherwise inaccessible terrain thanks to their rappelling cables.

Cave Troopers have made multiple appearances since their initial appearance in the Star Wars Legends universe in 2015.

Mine troopers

Kessel's Finest Fighting Force was a specialist unit of Stormtroopers known as mine troopers or tunnel troopers. They were specifically trained to operate in mining areas and wore bulkier, tan-colored armor than their colleagues. A seal shielded them in their bodysuits from the spiced air that would have affected their cognitive function.

Crimson Stormtroopers

The Galactic Empire's elite stormtrooper corps included Crimson Stormtroopers, who were outfitted and trained specifically to fight in volcanic areas. Because of their crimson-red armor, they were better able to withstand the heat of such places. For warfare, they may use DLT-20A blaster rifles or E-11 medium blaster rifles. The crimson stormtroopers were a powerful force on the battlefield, but there is still a lot of mystery surrounding them. They continue to be among the most enigmatic and distinctive soldiers of the Empire and have become an iconic aspect of Star Wars legend.

Shadow Troopers

The Galactic Empire used Shadow Troopers, a specialized type of Stormtrooper, in the Galactic Civil War. They can be identified by their black armor and cloaking technology, which makes them nearly invisible. Using a variety of blaster guns, flash grenades, and jetpacks, Shadow Troopers were used for covert operations and launched massive attacks. They have appeared in a number of digital card games, reference books, and video games. Neither live-action nor animated versions have yet to be released.

Death Troopers

An elite subset of stormtroopers, death troopers were known for their lethality, espionage, and stealth. They served as the death trooper division under Imperial Intelligence, guarding Tarkin Initiative participants and Imperial officers. They were ideal for stealth operations since their body armor was coated in a polymer known as "Reflec," which prevented most scanning systems from detecting them.

In addition to heads-up displays that displayed information about allies and opponents, Death Troopers also had vocal distorters installed on their helmets. Hand-to-hand combat, heavy weaponry, demolition, improvised weaponry, guerilla warfare, and sharpshooting were among the skills they learned. They were very adept at hiding their location.

Dark Troopers

Originally appearing in the Legends universe, the Dark Troopers are a sophisticated type of battle droid that later found their way into the current canon of Star Wars. General Rom Mohc and Moff Gideon developed them and are robotic troops with armor that make them practically impervious.

The Dark Troopers are dangerous troopers who could have altered the outcome of the war if they had been used.

These Dark Troopers most recently made an appearance in The Mandalorian, a Star Wars television series. Returning to their droid origins, the title character was in grave danger from these Dark Troopers.

Purge Troopers

Following the Great Jedi Purge, the Galactic Empire's Inquisitors employed Purge Troopers, also called Purge Stormtroopers, a specialized type of Stormtrooper, to find and destroy any remaining Jedi. The first Purge Troopers were the final generation of clone troopers created using Jango Fett's blueprint; they were hostile against Jedi and programmed to follow Order 66. Later, non-clone human recruits from the Stormtrooper Corps augmented and replaced these troops. They served as the garrison of Fortress Inquisitors and were employed in a number of missions, including Darth Vader's expedition to Mon Cala, the search for Padawan Cal Kestis, and the defense of important Empire sites like Kashyyyk.

Purge Troopers (Anoat Sector)

The Anoat sector was home to the dreaded Purge Troopers, a unit of Imperial Stormtroopers. Their thick armor resembled that of the Phase II Dark Troopers, which were being assessed in the interim between the Battle of Hoth and Yavin. In contrast to other purge troops, they were well-equipped with heavier weapons and were commanded by Commander Bragh. A large number of soldiers were instructed to repress their empathy after being recruited from gangs in the Cargamalis Street Wars.

Jump troopers

The Galactic Empire uses Jump Troopers, also called Rocket Troopers, which are specialized Stormtroopers with jetpacks that enable them to hover up to 20 meters in the air. In space conditions, they can be employed for surprise strikes, assaults, pincer tactics, and boarding hostile spacecraft. They frequently carry RT-97C heavy-blaster rifles, missile launchers, and burst shields.

Jump Troopers have been featured in a number of mediums, including video games like Star Wars Battlefront I & II and Star Wars: Commander, as well as the animated series Star Wars Rebels. The Arctic, Desert, and Forest jump troopers are among the variants of jump troopers who specialize in various planetary conditions. Desert Jump troopers used modified jetpacks that let them function in extremely hot and dry environments, whereas Arctic.

Jump troopers wore outfits that were identical to those of cold-weather assault stormtroopers. With modifications to their typical jetpacks, Forest Jump troopers were able to move more quickly through densely forested areas. They were dressed like Stormtroopers. The faster movement was made possible by these changes, which enhanced the jets' power distribution.

Armored Stormtroopers

The Imperial Stormtrooper Corps' elite Armored Stormtroopers, sometimes known as Heavy Stormtroopers, were identified by their orange shoulder pads and stronger armor. They were used in the Galactic Civil War's Battle of Monstrosa Islands Reytha campaign. Additionally, they appeared as an upgrade from standard Stormtrooper soldiers in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.

In addition to having a red monocle-like gadget on their right eye, heavy stormtroopers were known to favor heavier weapons.

Heavy Weapons Stormtroopers

Heavy Armaments Stormtroopers were Imperial soldiers who had undergone special training and were armed with DLT-19 heavy-blaster rifles and massive rapid-fire blasters. During the Galactic Civil War, they were present on the front lines of significant conflicts, including those at Endor, Theed, and Jakku. They frequently carried military bags with extra ammunition and supplies, and their armor was enhanced to protect them from the recoil of their guns. Depending on their unit, several variations, such as Heavy Shore troopers, Heavy Snow troopers, and Heavy Sand troopers, also got additional training or supplies.

Demolition Troopers

Within the Stormtrooper Corps, Demolition Troopers are specialized stormtroopers who are armed with SE-14C blaster pistols and Smart Rockets. In order to fire more precisely at their targets, they typically don conventional stormtrooper armor sans a helmet. Demolition troops participated in the Battle of Jakku in 5 ABY and at Chinook Station on Bespin. They are more effective fighters because they employ their heavy weaponry to maintain a safe distance from the front lines.

Imperial Cadets

The Galactic Empire relied heavily on Imperial Cadets to feed its administration, military, and other institutions with recruits. Usually, they began training at the age of 13. They received instruction in loyalty, pro-imperial history, and other skills necessary for service in the Empire. Cadets could either rejoin one of the many governmental groups in the Empire or return to their previous lives after completing the curriculum. Imperial Cadets contributed to the stability of Emperor Palpatine's government for many years to come.

Incinerator Troopers

A specialized branch of the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper Corps, Incinerator Troopers were known for their destructive flamethrower weapons. Wearing red-marked stormtrooper armor and pauldrons, they were protected from the extreme heat by a cryaplast coat. They were well-versed in firefighting, and their preferred weapon was the D-72w Oppressor flame projector. Both the Empire and an Imperial relic years later, Navarro, employed them to battle opponents and their defenses.

Incinerator Troopers are among the Galaxy's most feared stormtroopers due to their lethal capabilities.

Lava troopers

During the Age of the Empire, the black-armored Stormtroopers known as Lava Troopers—also called Magma Troopers—were based in Fortress Vader on the planet Must-afar. To withstand the extreme circumstances on the planet, they were carefully outfitted with breathing apparatus.

Imperial Navy Troopers

The Galactic Empire's Imperial Navy Troopers were tasked with protecting Imperial space stations and spacecraft, including the Death Star in A New Hope. Their task was to keep dissidents and enemy soldiers from wreaking havoc on imperial ships.

EVO Troopers

Equipped with insulation to defend against hazardous substances and life support equipment, EVO Troopers were specialized stormtroopers trained to operate in dangerous settings. Their armaments were flèche launchers. More proof of nonhuman bigotry in the Empire was found when it was revealed that the troops were also designed to combat nonhuman alien species.

Hazard Troopers

The Imperial Remnant employed specialized stormtroopers known as Hazard Troopers. With a three-day air supply, their incredibly resilient suit protected them against small-arms fire, corrosive damage, and high temperatures. If air pollutants had gotten past their filters, their helmet HUD warned them. To clean the air, they had to stop breathing, close the filters on their helmets, and exhale. Similar to Dark Troopers, Hazard Troopers were cyborgs that wielded either a Stoker shock rifle or an Imperial heavy repeater. They also had mechanical limb replacements. They were highly resilient units of the Imperial Army, but their armor made them slow to move.

Radiation Zone Stormtroopers

Zone of Radiation Stormtroopers, sometimes referred to as radiation troopers, radiation zone assault troopers, or rad troopers, were a specific kind of Stormtrooper that was created to function in areas with high radiation levels. They had not yet been included in the canon and were connected to Grand Admiral Thrawn's fleet. Radiation Zone Stormtroopers were able to operate in planetary gravities by donning space trooper suits, which provided radiation protection. The fact that they are among the few nuclear weapons in the Star Wars universe makes them noteworthy.

Special Commando Advanced Recon Troopers

Particular Commando Elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire's stormtrooper army were called Advanced Recon Troopers, or SCAR troopers. They were granted more freedom than ordinary stormtroopers and worked in small squads under the command of a sergeant. Each member had a distinct area of expertise and was frequently sent on critical Imperial operations, including fighting the Rebels on Crait. During the galactic war, Sergeant Kreel's SCAR trooper squad, Task Force 99, was an active force. They were highly skilled and applied their knowledge to assist the Empire in establishing control over the Galaxy.

Sith Troopers

During the New Republic Era, the Sith Eternal cult established an elite force on Exegol known as Sith troopers, or Sith stormtroopers, with the goal of restoring Emperor Palpatine as the Galaxy's ruler. They carried on the legacy of armored infantry troops utilized by the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, and the First Order before them, and they were dressed in red armor that resembled Sith lightsaber blades. They were trained to be completely devoted. Palpatine and the Sith troops were annihilated along with the Final Order, which gave the remainder of the Galaxy the impetus to band together against the remaining forces of the First Order. The First Order-Resistance War came to an end as a result.

Artillery Stormtroopers

A distinct subgroup of Imperial stormtroopers, artillery stormtroopers (sometimes called shell troopers), are experts in indirect firepower like mortars. They are distinguished from ordinary stormtroopers by their yellow markings and conventional white armor. They also frequently utilize Model 201 mortars in combat and carry explosives-filled military backpacks. To maximize the destruction of their attacks, these trained troops can precisely shoot their explosives at predefined points from a distance. On any battlefield, they must be regarded seriously because they are skilled and dangerous fighters.

Sea troopers

Equipped with scuba gear, flippers, and underwater propulsion jets, sea troopers were specialist members of the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper Corps. During the Age of the Empire, they engaged in combat on watery worlds such as Mon Cala and Lothal. Lightweight and glove-like, the sea trooper armor featured SG-4 blaster weapons that could shoot harpoon darts and a bodysuit that repelled poisons. With the help of a propulsion unit installed on their back, they could stay underwater for more than an hour and travel quickly through the water. During this time, sea troopers played a crucial role in fighting conflicts that took place underwater.

Emperor's Royal Guard

Emperor Palpatine's bodyguards were the Imperial Royal Guard, which the Galactic Republic referred to as the Crimson Guard or Red Guard. To serve in the Royal Guard, highly qualified warriors were chosen based on rigorous standards for loyalty, size, strength, and intelligence. The Emperor was always accompanied by members of the Royal Guard when he appeared in public.

As a representation of the Emperor's might, the Royal Guards' menacing red armor terrified their adversaries. Other military personnel wore regular white, black, or gray armor, which contrasted sharply with this gear. Fear was frequently evoked by the red-clad guards' intimidating appearance, even more than by the Shadow Troopers.

Imperial Heavy Troopers

A variation of the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper, the Imperial Heavy Trooper was outfitted with thicker armor and electro-staff and trained for front-line warfare against formidable foes. They were usually seen in advance of vanguards guarding weapon specialists and other stormtroopers. Although they were uncommon, they were present aboard the Death Star, Raxus Prime, Felucia, and Kashyyyk.

Elite Praetorian Guard

Supreme Leader Snoke, the head of the First Order, had eight highly skilled fighters who were his bodyguards, known as the Elite Praetorian Guard. Wearing red armor and robes, they carried a variety of advanced combat weapons and were experts in martial arts, including Bakuuni Hand and Teräs Käsi. To assist in maintaining order on planets under First Order control, they receive training in riot control techniques.

First Order Tie Fighter Pilot

Using their advanced TIE/fo superiority starfighters, First Order TIE Fighter Pilots protected the airspace surrounding bases and warships and tracked down enemy ships in order to assist the First Order. More sophisticated two-manned TIE ships with improved weaponry and detection equipment were available to elite pilots. Pilots who showed exceptional skill and loyalty were promoted to First Order elite levels.

First Order Snow trooper

The Initial Order The First Order uses a specific kind of Stormtrooper called a snow trooper. They are equipped with modified F-11D blaster rifles with heat-shunting devices and antifogging optics, as well as insulated armor and cold weather-resistant helmets. To live in cold climates, they often carry backpacks with personal environment units. Snow troopers have been observed during the First Order's occupation of Kijimi, the Battle of Starkiller Base, and the Battle of Crait.

First Order Flame trooper

As they clear out Resistance soldiers from fortified locations, flame troopers are a crucial component of the First Order's stormtrooper regiment. They have more padding to shield them from heat and burns, and their armor resembles that of snow troopers. Every flame trooper has a D-93 Incinerator, which has a central pressurized propellant tank, two external Conflagrine-14 fuel tanks, and a double-barreled flame projector rifle. The flame troopers' helmets have additional breathing tank links for clean air and a tiny slit visor to shield against weapon glare.

First Order Mega blaster Heavy Assault Trooper

An FWMB-10 repeating blaster, sometimes known as the "mega blaster," and web gear filled with extra ammunition were carried by the Mega blaster Heavy Assault Trooper, a variation of the First Order's basic Stormtrooper. They fought against Iden Versio, Zay Versio, and Shriv Suurgav during the Battle of Kestro and the Skirmish on the Retribution in 34 ABY. The troops could quickly eliminate a large number of opponents since they were well-prepared and equipped for heavy combat circumstances. In combat, they proved to be powerful forces.

First Order Executioner Stormtrooper

Executioner troopers, also known as First Order Judicial Stormtroopers, were chosen at random from the ranks of the current troops and tasked with administering ultimate justice to First Order foes. No serial number was broadcast on displays of other stormtroopers, and the armor of Executioner troopers featured an integrated vocoder that masked their voice. It was also regarded as training for stormtroopers.
