PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Mantis is a compact-sized lightsaber with two blades. Its highly distinctive and creative design presents a fantastic chance to redefine the appearance of a lightsaber.
One electronics module in the hilt powers and regulates the two emitters simultaneously. There are two blades on this saber!
Like all others, this magnificent saber has an aluminum 6063 hilt. Each saber has beautiful finishes and sturdy construction made of durable materials, providing the best re-creation of a legendary design or an incredibly comfortable and fashionable dueling weapon.
SABER CONFIGURATIONS
Here's a simple breakdown of our available configurations.
- Standard: the base model now has an Xeno 3 board and offers excellent audio, numerous effects, and customization via an SD card or smartphone app. Baselit sabers, designed for heavy battling, have a lighter blade than standard sabers. It's ideal if you want to perform in stunt/duel performances or cosplay or don't require the Neopixel Blade.
- Premium : It's the choice we want the most! A Neopixel blade on the same brand-new Xeno 3 board. The blade's high-density LED strip provides an incredible appearance and many visual effects. Currently modifiable via an SD card and, as always, a mobile app.
BLADE LENGTH
- Dimensions of the hilt: 37.5cm / 14.75 inches in length
- Dimensions of the blades: You can select a length of 72, 82, or 92 cm (28, 32, or 36 inches) with our standard diameter of 1 inch. Standard swords have a polycarbonate thickness of 2 mm, whereas Deluxe and Premium swords have a 3 mm thickness.
- Recommended length of your lightsaber: Many fencing federations and academies stipulate that the entire length of your dueling saber must not exceed 110cm (39.4 to 43.4 inches). Typically, the blade is 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3 inches) inside the hilt. If you intend to use your saber in a formal situation, select the correct size; if this bothers you, go for the more considerable blade length, which is 36 inches or 92 cm.
USABILITY CHART
The critical criteria for duelists are Handling and Weight; for cosplayers, it is Style and ease of Maintenance; and for collectors, it is mostly Style.
STYLE & REFINEMENT
A balanced saber: elegant with many design details but not overly functional.
HANDLING COMFORT
When a perfectly comfortable dueling hilt is combined with an innovative design. An excellent middle ground.
WEIGHT
It is an excellent compromise between a sturdy construction and a high-quality training saber.
MAINTENANCE
One core, an in-hilt charging port, and rarely more than two screws to detach the electronics from the hilt make this the easiest of swords.
XENO3 BLUETOOTH
There's decent Bluetooth communication with this hilt. If there are no network interferences, you can set the parameters of your sword using the app up to three feet away from your phone.

It is possible to purchase more blades with varying lengths, thicknesses, and widths.
- You may use the tip drag effect and smooth ignitions with the neopixel blades. The neopixel blades in Premium and Deluxe sabers also significantly improve blaster effects, flash-on-clash, and saber lockups.
BATTERY AND BOARDS
- Rechargeable 3000mAh and 3600mAh batteries can run a saber for one to three hours, depending on whether it's a profile, neopixel, or basalt saber and the effects you're using.
- Never charge a USB device using a dongle, hub, fast charger, computer, or console—always use a 1A 5v USB charger. Inappropriate power outputs and charging devices will damage your board and void the warranty.

The History of Double Blade Lightsabers
In addition to its intimidating appearance, the lightsaber's capacity to deal significant damage to adversaries on the battlefield makes it an unquestionably impressive weapon. A plasma blade extends from an emitter fastened to one end of a hilt in the single-blade design of the archetypal lightsaber. However, as every fan of Star Wars is aware, not all lightsabers are made the same way. The double-blade lightsaber, a rare variation with a fascinating past that we will explore below, is among the most striking of these alternate designs.
What Is a Double Blade Lightsaber?
A double-bladed saber is relatively easy to manufacture. The double-blade lightsaber features two blades that emit from opposing ends of the hilt, as opposed to the one blade that emits from the end of a regular lightsaber. The two-blade lightsaber's design qualifies it as a staff weapon. The hilt of several of these lightsabers can split in the middle, forming two completely functional single-bladed lightsabers.
The lightsaber pike (or lance), another staff weapon with a long handle that can be made to emit a blade at either end, is strikingly similar to the double blade. These two weapons are used in very identical combat situations.
Saber staff, double saber, and dual saber are some of the other names for the double-blade lightsaber.
The Double Blade in Action
In combat, the dual lightsaber calls for a distinct technique for offensive and defense. The wielder of the double-blade cannot safely or efficiently employ many motions and strikes usually performed with the single-blade saber. A novice fighter might even skewer themselves by accident. One of the reasons a double-blade lightsaber is uncommon in the Star Wars universe is that it is challenging to learn how to wield it.
The double-bladed saber does, however, have a number of benefits. It permits a high attack rate, which frequently overwhelms adversaries with its intensity. Although its thrusting strikes aren't its strongest feature, its powerful sweeping assaults may and do deal a great deal of damage. Furthermore, because so few people have actually used this weapon to defend against it in combat, its scarcity often allows the user to take advantage of the element of surprise.
Early Days of the Double Blade
The Dark Lords of the Old Sith Empire are credited with creating the dual lightsaber. Exar Kun, a former Jedi Knight, used it to lead his Brotherhood of the Sith into combat during the Great Sith War, marking its first noteworthy appearance. In essence, it was a lightsaber with one blade altered so that a second blade emitted from the other end. Even his former Jedi Master, Vodo-Siosk Baas, was no match for Kun's twin-blade lightsaber in a one-on-one battle, demonstrating the weapon's formidable effectiveness against the Jedi Order, who had never seen one of these weapons before.
Later, in fierce combat on Yavin 4, Kun lost his lightsaber and was defeated by the Jedi. The recovery of this potent weapon became a top priority for the Jedi Covenant, and Jedi Master Celeste Morne eventually found it. The sword thereafter ended up in the hands of Jarael, an Arkanian, who used it to fight Chantique, her archenemy. The sword was soon acquired by Chantique herself, but she lost it to her despised father, Antos Wyrick (Demagol). A later altercation between the father and daughter ended in death when the peculiar weapon suddenly came into play, killing them both at once. After all these dramatic events, Kun's twin-blade lightsaber was safely returned to the Jedi.
The Jedi started utilizing the twin-blade lightsaber after being impressed by its efficacy. It was used in battle by both Jedi and Sith during the Jedi Civil War. Both Jedi Consular and Sith Inquisitors began using it as a weapon.
Nevertheless, the dual lightsaber's overall impact remained relatively small, and it eventually faded into oblivion once more. Until Darth Maul brought the design back to life and his red double-bladed lightsaber quickly gained notoriety across the galaxy, it would stay that way. Asajj Ventress, General Grievous, and Darth Zannah are among the other characters from the Clone Wars era who wielded the double-blade lightsaber.
Once more, the weapon became obsolete, and until Luke Skywalker founded the New Jedi Order, it was only occasionally seen.
