What Are The Coolest Lightsabers To Collect?
Welcome to the ultimate resource for fans and enthusiasts alike, starting the honorable search for the most renowned and unique lightsabers the Star Wars universe has ever seen. Holding a piece of the galaxy's heart, a beacon of the eternal conflict between the light and dark sides, is more significant than simply possessing a piece of memorabilia. Let's cut through the universe to find these treasures, from the recognizable sabers of heroes and villains to the custom-made reproductions that grace our earthly collections.
The Legends of the Galaxy: Iconic Lightsabers
Each lightsaber is a story woven from the Force itself, yet some are more well-known in the galaxy's mythology than others. Consider Luke Skywalker's lightsaber, which saw the collapse of the Empire and sparked hope throughout the stars. Then there is Darth Vader's ominous red saber, which is as distinct as its wielder's breathing and represents strength and terror.
Rarity and Exclusivity: The Holy Grails
The appeal of rarity is like a siren's call to the discriminating collector. Some lightsabers are legendary, made in small quantities or under unique conditions. Each of these items has a history that might fill a Holocron, making them more than just collectables. A badge of honor, obtaining one of these rarities, indicates that you have mastered the collector's path. These jewels don't live long, so we don't have many on our site.
Preserving the Legacy: Tips for the Avid Collector
When you own a piece of the Star Wars universe, it's like taking care of a holy treasure. Verify the origin of rare and valuable lightsabers at all times to ensure authenticity. Equally important is preservation; keep your sabers out of direct sunlight and in environments that don't compromise their quality. Keep in mind that these are more than simply trinkets; they are relics of a greater story, infused with the essence of their fabled owners.
So, if we had a lightsaber collection, what would we make sure to have? To motivate you, we decided to set a challenge for ourselves and produce our ideal five-sabre collection:
1) A quality duel & spinning lightsaber:
Everyone wants to be a Jedi Master, but practice is necessary first. To start, we would make sure we had a simple sabre that we could practice techniques with and use for Duelling. A Base Lit lightsaber is what we suggest because it is less expensive than its Neopixel cousins and has a hilt that bears most of the weight, which improves balance for stunts. Make sure there aren't many objects on the hilt and that it is smooth. You'll be able to perform some really impressive manoeuvres and handle the weapon more efficiently as a result. Because of the pricing and range of colors available, the Model Hunter and Model Beta are our best-selling models. For us, the Luke V1 Spin is the best.
2) An original character saber:
Without those early films, Star Wars would not be where it is now. They influenced a generation of filmmakers who are still active today and were unlike anything that had ever been seen before. Having a saber modelled after the weapons used on set is the only way to honor this history. There is just one obvious winner, in our opinion. For this reason, we are using the GFX V1 in this section.
3) A saber from the games:
Watching the Star Wars games on a large screen allows us to experience the experiences we once only dreamed of. Having the actual lightsaber from the game is the ideal approach to satisfy that craving. We can't remove it from the screen, but there won't be many issues with our lightsaber, which is modelled after Starkiller. Our choice will be the worn-out Starkiller lightsaber since it is a tried-and-true weapon that has brought us to this point, not a shiny new toy.
4) A double-bladed lightsaber:
We have only chosen single-bladed thus far, and if we can only have five, we'll need something more. No one can dispute that the duel isn't objectively cooler after Darth Maul taught us how to use it. The Model Inquisitor is the last option, even though we could use the Darth Maul sabre here, and we doubt anyone would object. Come on! Take a look at that design! Dark Reys, Satele Shan, or any other double-bladed would also be accepted. They are objectively more remarkable, as we stated.
5) A collectors Edition:
Not to mention, we require a collector's edition. Because, of course! We take great pride in showcasing your piece of Star Wars history on the wall for everyone to see whenever they visit your house. You can't go wrong with any of the excellent selections available here. Care and attention to detail go into creating each of these imitation lightsabers. The level of authenticity is astounding. Which would we choose, the Oggdo Killer? (As an aside, everyone in this room still has nightmares about trying to defeat Spawn of Oggdo at last.) As previously stated, the games hold a particular place in our hearts, and they are among the most exquisite swords we have ever seen.
