Lightsaber Training
Are you prepared to become a Jedi and begin your lightsaber training? Like your father before you, most likely? Every Jedi starts as a Padawan, and in order to learn the ways of the Force, a Padawan requires a master.
Will you be my mentor in teaching me the Force's ways, Ultra-Sabers?
We may make some fantastic training sabers and the best weapons in the galaxy, but your lightsaber training has to come from somewhere else, Youngling. But don't worry, we have the perfect starting point. Since gravity seems to be impeding our ability to use the Force, we decided to concentrate on lightsaber battle, which is another fun aspect of being a Jedi (or Sith, depending on your perspective).
Carey Martell's painstakingly written book is a fantastic way to start reading and (safely) start learning how to use the most exquisite weapon from the most civilized era. With its abundance of images, the book skillfully teaches any Padawan how to perform eight different sorts of strikes, nearly a dozen different guard positions, and enough drills to make you sweat as much as a full-on lightsaber training session from the Dagobah swamps.
